I have eye pain in my right eye?

well I have a rare condition where my eye muscle is connected to my jaw muscle. Its been like that since I was a baby. some things that happen are: when I drink from a straw or chew something really chewy my eye moves up and down. I went to an eye specialist when I was a baby and he said it wouldnt effect me..lately I have noticed that I get "eyeaches" every once in a while in that eye. Its like a headache in my eye..do you think this is part of my condition? or should I see an eye doc? my vision is 20/20 last time it was checked
Answer:
Pain in the eye is always significant. Seeing a doctor while a baby is way too long ago for it to be relative now. See a real eye doctor recommended by your regular doctor - if you do not have a regular doctor, call a physician referral service who will give you the name of several ophthalmologists -- not an optician. Do so NOW. Every day counts when dealing with your eyes. I know - I'm blind in my left eye cause I waited before going to the doctor - always too busy you know!
Sorry, Im not a specialist but yes it does seem to be connected with your condition. Even if it is part of your condition I would still recommend that you go to a doctor just in case! Good luck!
There is surgery that can be preformed by an ophthalmic plastic surgeon for Marcus Gunn Jaw winking syndrome, make an appointment and they will check out the pain in your eye as well
