I have had diarrhea for 7 days now. It is not letting up.?

I went to the emergency room last night. I have been drinking lots of pedialite so I know I am hydrated. They could not find the problem because I have no pain. Just a gurgling in my stomach and whatever I eat takes 30 minutes to go thru my system. I have been dealing with this almost 2 weeks. It came, then it left and came back. My stomach gurgles and pushes it out. Any suggestions?
Answer:
I would suggest to drink lots of water no matter what. Depending on what your weight size is. Most suggest to drink following this formula for water intake:divide body weight by 2 and the total is the ounces of water yuo should take per day. Also fix it naturally like eat fruits and vegetables that are not canned. Natural!Read into fasting the body to get rid of the body's illnesses to be better informed. Suggestion Dr.Elson M. Haas. I usually follow his stuff. You have to fix it naturally cause yuo r body took something and it's not responding too well. Hope you feel better and take care of yourself.
as i am doing ayurvedic i will give u ayurvedic medi
mixture of equal parts of the tender leaves of babul tree , white and black cumin seeds in 10 gms dose should be taken daly and u will get relief
(DRINK LOTS OF WATER FOR COMPENSATION )
Please don't listen to any home remedies. Go to a doctor. Not only the emergency at at a hospital. In the meantime drink plenty of 7UP and add a little salt to it to prevent dehydration. All the best to you.
Have you tried Immodium and/or a product like Benefiber to see if they help? It could be that you have Irritable Bowel Syndrome.Stop eating solid or semi-solid food and go on a clear liquids only diet for a few days to give your colon some time to rest and recuperate. Stay away from dairy products.Good 'clear' liquids - beef, chicken, vegetable or other broths, jello, tea, coffee (only use non-dairy creamer), pedialyte. The broths will help keep your electrolytes in balance and you can have the jello solid, semi-solid or drink it.After a few days, try adding rice, a few crackers maybe a light vegetable soup and some applesauce but be careful not to overload your gut or add too much at once. If the symptoms return, make an appointment with your primary care physician or a gastroenterologist to get checked out.
Just a thought - is the water you are drinking coming from a well. I had the same problem and it turned out to be bacteria in the well which we treated with clorax. If not, better go see a doctor.
your right to drink the electrolytes. that is important.
you have had this for some time now i suggest you do see if anything like the watER in your home is good . i also suggest you go see your family doctor. not the er doctors they are not really there to treat this sort of problem over a long period of time they are fix it patch it kind of workers . your family doctor can order some tests and take the time to follow up with you .
in the mean time unless your told to take meds to stop the diarrhoea you are best not to . this is often your bodies way of getting rid of something that just should not be there. like bad food or water or many other things.
just keep up with the fluids take time to consider if anything has changed in your diet like your water and see your family doctor. whatever you do follow up with this unless it goes away and stays away for a very long time.
